Sophie nominated for Lions Film Award

I am so happy to announce that my short documentary Sophie has been nominated for the 2022 Lions Film Award!

It will be shown during the annual Open Doek event organised at cinema LantarenVenster by L’Esprit du Temps – a Rotterdam division of the Lions Club which supports up-and-coming film talent from Rotterdam. It’s one of four selected films, so it’s a great honour to be able to present Sophie on the big screen during this special event!

The event will take place on 8th of November. It includes screenings and Q&As with me and the other makers – after which there will be a vote to determine the winner… Exciting!
